Refund Policy  Bluebirds & Harley Bar

At Bluebirds & Harley Bar, we work hard to prepare and secure Venue dates, Suppliers, entertainment, catering and staffing for every booking. Because of this, we operate a strict refund policy across all bookings, services and ticketed event events.

Please read the following carefully before making a booking or payment.

Deposits

All deposits paid to Bluebirds/Harley bar are strictly non-refundable

This includes:

  • Wedding deposits

  • Party deposits

  • Event deposits

  • Booking fees

  • Event tickets

  • Security deposit forfeited due to breaches of terms

Deposit secure your date, venue availability staffing and planning time.

14 day cooling off period

Customers may cancel within 14 days of booking where applicable under UK consumer law

However:

  • deposits remain nonrefundable

  • Any services already provided may still be chargeable

  • Custom or time sensitive bookings may be excluded

After 14 days, all payments become nonrefundable

Payments after 14 days

Any payment made after the 14 day cooling off period is nonrefundable

This includes:

  • Additional instalments

  • Final balances

  • Added services

  • Upgrades

  • Entertainment payments

  • Catering payments

  • Add-ons and extras

Once payment is made the funds are used to secure suppliers staffing and operational costs.

Fully paid bookings

Once a booking has been paid in full, the booking is 100% non-refundable

This applies, even if:

  • The customer cancels

  • Guest numbers change

  • Personal circumstances change

  • The event is no longer required

Package upgrades and additions

Customers may upgrade packages at any time subject to availability

However:

  • Added items cannot be removed or downgraded

  • All added items become financially binding once confirmed

  • No refunds are available for added services

This includes:

  • DJs

  • Entertainment

  • Catering

  • Decor

  • Add-ons

  • Equipment hire

Ticketed events

All ticket sales are nonrefundable

If an event is rescheduled:

  • Tickets may remain valid for the new date

  • Or transferable within 18 months at management discretion

Force Majeure

Bluebirds Harley bar cannot accept responsibility for circumstances outside of our control

This includes:

  • Severe weather

  • Government restrictions

  • Power outages

  • Supplier failure

  • Public emergencies

  • Acts of God

  • Illness outbreaks

In these situations:

  • Refunds may not be issued

  • Events may be rescheduled

  • Credit may be offered instead

Any credit issued may be subject to expiry periods

Customer cancellations

If a customer chooses to cancel a booking:

  • deposits are nonrefundable

  • Payments made after 14 days are nonrefundable

  • Added services remain chargeable

  • No compensation or reimbursement will be provided

Refunds for venue closure

In the unlikely event, Bluebirds Harbaugh must cancel a booking directly due to venue closure or operational inability:

  • customers may be offered a rescheduled date

  • A venue credit

  • Or a partial full refund at management discretion

Security deposits

Refund refundable security deposit deposits are returned only where:

  • no damage has occurred

  • No excessive cleaning is required

  • No rules or policies were Breached

Deductions may be made for:

  • Damage

  • Cleaning

  • Missing items

  • Rule violations

  • Guest misconduct

Chargebacks and payment disputes

By making payment customers confirm acceptance of:

  • The terms and conditions

  • This refund policy

Any attempt to reverse valid payments through chargebacks or payment disputes may be formally challenged using signed agreements, invoices and booking records.
